~October 1st, 2008 .. A new hardcopy album is available: "Nylonrijp" by Bas van Huizen. "The basis for every track on Nylonrijp is the nylon-string guitar. As in most of my work I play around with dissonance, harmony and various textures, but here I have focused a bit more on (interlocking) staccato tones. It gave me the perfect opportunity to use my homemade one-string "guitar" for a musical announcement to differentiate between the two EPs." -- ~September 19th, 2008 .. Another update at the Etherkreet Depository, with a few older pieces from Bas. -- ~September 7th, 2008 .. The Etherkreet Depository is updated with the 23-minute piece "krkkl" by Ezra. "I made dense blocks of sound that move slowly as a whole but still have many different smaller gestures and details inside. To make space for these smaller things I tried to make the blocks as large as possible, in an acoustic sense (with spatially wide & surrounding sound) but also in the sense of them developing slowly and articulated.
